The Washington Capitals were on ice Friday morning for a practice following their come from behind win over the Lightning on Thursday. Some updates from Kettler Capitals Iceplex:
All of the healthy forwards were on ice for the skate, certainly an improvement over the last week or so in which a lot of players have been taking options. The lines were as follows: Johansson-Laich-Ovechkin, Chimera-Perreault-Aucoin, Hendricks-Beagle-Brouwer, and Knuble-Halpern-Semin-Ward. Yes, that's Alex Semin on the fourth line so that KEITH AUCOIN can play on the "second" unit. Madness, I say.
Mike Green was not available to speak to reporters prior to his 1 PM disciplinary hearing with the League for his hit on Brett Connolly on Thursday. Dale Hunter would not comment on the play, either.

Welcome!
Welcome to Caps 'Round the Clock, a blog covering the Washington Capitals and the NHL. In season, I update the Blog after every practice and on game day with Caps news and information, and then provide a recap and analysis after each contest. I also write a periodical Prospect Watch and weekly feature pieces on the state of the Men in Red and other things Capitals. And of course, I will post videos and tidbits from around the League and offer my two cents as the season wears on. In the offseason, I write a Report Card for each player, and will keep you updated on all the news about the Caps through the summer. I'm glad you're here, and hope you come back!
