Welcome!

Welcome to Caps 'Round the Clock, a blog covering the Washington Capitals and the NHL. In season, I update the Blog after every practice and on game day with Caps news and information, and then provide a recap and analysis after each contest. I also write a periodical Prospect Watch and weekly feature pieces on the state of the Men in Red and other things Capitals. And of course, I will post videos and tidbits from around the League and offer my two cents as the season wears on. In the offseason, I write a Report Card for each player, and will keep you updated on all the news about the Caps through the summer. I'm glad you're here, and hope you come back!

Hitler Reacts to Bruce Boudreau's Firing

For all you non history buffs out there, there is a German movie about World War II called "Der Untergang."  It means "The Downfall," and, as you can probably predict, chronicles Hitler's final days inside his Berlin bunker at the end of the War.
Long story short, there is a scene in the movie in which Hitler is informed by his head lieutenants that the city is doomed and will fall to Allied forces.  The Fuhrer, predictably, flies off the handle. This video has been spoofed many times with Hitler's rage falling on many things, such as the result of the 2011 Winter Classic (by PuckBuddys), the Montreal Canadiens trading Jaroslav Halak, and the Heat losing the NBA Finals this past year to the Mavericks.  Now, it's the Caps' turn. My dad found this one about the firing of Bruce Boudreau.  Have a watch.  A bit of NSFW language.

Very nicely done.

Editors note: this post and video is meant solely for entertainment purposes and is not in any way an endorsement of Nazi Germany or Adolf Hitler.  If you are offended by the video, please let me know.
