Welcome!

Welcome to Caps 'Round the Clock, a blog covering the Washington Capitals and the NHL. In season, I update the Blog after every practice and on game day with Caps news and information, and then provide a recap and analysis after each contest. I also write a periodical Prospect Watch and weekly feature pieces on the state of the Men in Red and other things Capitals. And of course, I will post videos and tidbits from around the League and offer my two cents as the season wears on. In the offseason, I write a Report Card for each player, and will keep you updated on all the news about the Caps through the summer. I'm glad you're here, and hope you come back!

Practice: Nov. 16

The Washington Capitals were on ice Wednesday in Nashville as they prepare to take on the Winnipeg Jets Thursday night north of the border.  Some notes from Bridgestone Arena:

Mike Green has not yet joined the Caps on their trip as there was some hope that he may.  That almost surely rules him out for Thursday's game in Winnipeg as the defenseman works his way back from a strained right groin.
In terms of line combinations, Bruce Boudreau pretty much stuck with what he used during most of Tuesday's poor showing in Nashville.  The lines were: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Brouwer, Chimera-Laich-Semin, Eakin-Johansson-Ward, and Hendricks-Ward-Knuble-Perreault.

That's all for now.  Check back later.
Information from Katie Carrera was used in this post.
