Welcome!

Welcome to Caps 'Round the Clock, a blog covering the Washington Capitals and the NHL. In season, I update the Blog after every practice and on game day with Caps news and information, and then provide a recap and analysis after each contest. I also write a periodical Prospect Watch and weekly feature pieces on the state of the Men in Red and other things Capitals. And of course, I will post videos and tidbits from around the League and offer my two cents as the season wears on. In the offseason, I write a Report Card for each player, and will keep you updated on all the news about the Caps through the summer. I'm glad you're here, and hope you come back!

The Day After...

After last nights embarrassment at the hands of the New York Rangers, coach Bruce Boudreau had little to say other than that his team will have to work hard in practice this week in order to break out of this massive funk that they are in.  His captain spoke to more of the same, repeating that this is unknown territory for the Bruce Boudreau Capitals, and that they just have to keep working hard and, hopefully, good things will come.

Not really much to report out of Kettler Capitals Iceplex today other than Alex Ovechkin is believed to be okay after taking an Alexander Semin shot to the knee late in last night's game.  Ovechkin was seen limping after the game but proclaimed himself fine.  I guess we will see.

Any more updates from practice will be posted later.
